The expenses to help these animals in the Netherlands (adoption)
are: For animals with a physical problem or animals aged 7
years and older € 170. This amount is calculated as follows:
€ 70 of travel expenses, € 80 veterinary costs and € 20 for
the foundation. These extra costs are used as a reserve for
veterinary costs of dogs in our foster homes.
For healthy animals the amount is € 200.
This amount consists of € 70 travel expenses, € 80
veterinary costs, € 20 for the foundation (as explained
above) and € 30 contribution for castrations and
sterilizations. The costs are much higher than € 30 of
course but to avoid extremely high contributions for the
families we try to pay some of the expenses another way (gifts,
collecting and selling things,…).
The veterinary expenses include: chip, passport, rabies and
a blood test (analysis) regarding the health of the animal
and monitoring of sicknesses.
For the “health” of our foundation it would be good to
receive these expenses from the adopting families but we do
understand that if an animal needs medication or intense
veterinary care that might not always be possible.
In special cased it will be possible to talk about the
contribution, but we never negotiate about an animal!
We want to inform you that each penny is exclusively spent
on the animals; no expenses of our foundation is being paid
by gifts (such as travel expenses, telephone, material,
etc.).
These we pay entirely of our own money. At the end of a year
we will publish an annual report on our Internet site.
We will summarize the contributions for our animals in the
following survey:
* animals with a (physical) problem € 170, -
* animals aged 7 years or above € 170, -
* animals without health problems € 200, -
* animals not yet castrated or spayed € 170, -
